Edit Graffiti and EpiDoc Markup
Feature Description
Editors will be able to edit information about individual graffiti. This will include information such as translation, findspot, content, etc. Additionally, editors will be able to EpiDocify the content of an inscription marking the text with more information. Once the user hits submit, the database is updated accordingly. The EpiDoc functionality is mostly already implemented, allowing the user highlight text to be EpiDocified. The user should be able to save the EpiDoc changes to the database. This too should already be implemented, but may require some tweeks or fine-tuning.
Prerequisites
Before accessing the features allowing the user to manage passwords, the user must first successfully login as an administrator. Once that is accomplished they must navigate to one of the links for editing graffiti.
What the User Sees
The user will see a page filled with various text boxes, buttons, and check boxes that allow them to tailor the information about a graffito. This page is already completed and available on AGP.
When EpiDocifying content, the user highlights text and follows the on-screen instructions. Once again, this A preliminary version of this feature has already been completed and is available on AGP.
User Behavior
The user will fill out the page's form completing needed information for individual graffiti. The user will also manually provide name, place, and date information using the EpiDocify content tools.
Use Cases
This feature will be used by the classicists to add necessary information directly to graffiti.
Relative Priority of Feature
Priority: High (mostly completed)
This is one of the more important administrative features to be completed, but until their are more user accounts and a robust admin system, the feature will go unused.
