The subject of Algorithms is a powerful lens through which to view the field of computer science in general. Although we are more interested in understanding this subject in the field of computer science, other fields such as economics, biology, and other studies have used algorithms to solve problems respectively. Algorithmic projects include two fundamental components: understanding the mathematical clean core of a problem, and identifying the best techniques of solving the problem. Kleinberg and Tardos seek to help us explore what motivates computational problems and why we choose certain ways of solving them.
